Keith A. Hood

Keith A. Hood, joined the University in 2007 as the Manager of the Office of Labor Relations, and was promoted to Assistant Director in 2012, and was appointed to Interim Director in March 2017.

Prior to joining UConn, Keith had been a litigator for the United States Postal Service, specializing in discrimination and disciplinary litigation before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) and in other administrative forums. Keith also worked for the City of Worcester, Massachusetts, as the Coordinator of Labor Relations in the Human Resources Department, and as an Assistant City Solicitor; and was the Deputy General Counsel for Criminal Litigation and a Hearing Officer at the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Industries. Keith began his legal career as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, where he attained the rank of Captain.

Keith has taught as Adjunct Faculty at Clark University and Worcester State College in Worcester, Massachusetts.
